Combining elements from different photos into a single image sounds easier than it actually is. When doctoring photos, you have to pay attention to countless details, otherwise the results will be less than satisfying. You may forget about an object's shadow or its colors can make it obvious that it doesn't belong in the picture. Photo Blend 3D can take care of such details for you. It makes it quite easy to cut and move objects from one picture to another and it places numerous tools at your disposal, for blending the objects into their new environment. Also, the software gives you the possibility of creating 3D images without too much effort.

Installing Photo Blend 3D does not take more than a minute. It works on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it provides full support for both 32 and 64-bit versions. The software's hardware requirements are modest and it doesn't ask for any additional tools or drivers.

The user interface presents a large number of options, around the main editing area. It may seem intimidating at a first glance, but it takes only a few minutes to master the program's controls. You can import one or more source images, from which you can extract objects and send them to your main composition. Options for manipulating source images and editing the main composition are well separated, so you can spot them immediately. Source images can be selected on the right side of the interface, where you can also find a few controls for creating masks.

The left side of the interface is where you can find all the editing tools for the main composition. To send an object to the main composition, you only need to create a mask over that object and the software will do the rest. Masks can be created with a brush tool, which feels quite smooth and comfortable. You can draw with the left mouse button and erase with the right button and resize the brush with the mouse wheel.

Masks can be resized and moved anywhere in the main composition, where you can add any background image. The program will adjust the mask's colors automatically, according to the colors in the background image. As a result, the fact that an object is cut from another picture will be less noticeable. Furthermore, you can adjust the mask's blending level, opacity, focus and more. It is also possible to insert and customize stage lights, add lens flare effects and more. Another key feature is the possibility of making the image 3D. The software allows you to change the depth, as well as the horizontal and vertical tints separately, for objects and the background. This gives you complete freedom to make objects and the background look like they are farther or closer to the camera.

Pros

Objects can be extracted from pictures and placed on new backgrounds, just by drawing a mask. The software makes various color adjustments automatically, to blend objects into their new backgrounds. Also, you can make various adjustments manually and create 3D images.

Cons

There are no obvious design flaws or functionality gaps that need to be addressed. Photo Blend 3D gives you the possibility of seamlessly combining numerous elements into a single high quality photo without any kind of difficulties.
